In this session, I will introduce some of my current research interests, Asia-Africa business relations, talent management, Asia-Africa tourism and indigenous knowledge. I will then provide some further detail on talent management, ie prior work, and the work in progress, and explore the potential for collaboration. Taking into account the likely disciplinary diversity, I will provide a systematic overview of these topics and invite an exchange of ideas.
人物简介：
Ken Kamoche is Professor of HRM and Organization Studies at the University of Nottingham. He earned a BCom in Accounting & Finance at the University of Nairobi, then he won a Rhodes Scholarship and proceeded to Oxford University where he earned an MPhil and DPhil in Management. After Oxford, Ken held positions as Lecturer at Birmingham University, Associate Professor at the City University of Hong Kong, and Professor at Nottingham Trent University. He has also served as Visiting Professor in many universities in Europe, Africa and Asia. Ken is particularly passionate about leadership, knowledge management, talent management and Asia-Africa relations. He has published over 60 articles in journals such as Human Relations, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of International Business Studies, Organisation Studies, Work, Employment and Society, and the International Journal of Human Resource Management, and 6 management books. His most recent co-edited book is Handbook of Chinese Business and Management, Routledge (2023).
